Filipe Santiago elected to the board of Ireland Portugal Business Network
The network aims to develop economic relations
Filipe Santiago, Managing Partner of BlueShift, has been elected as a board member for the Ireland Portugal Business Network, a non-profit organisation created in 2007, with the mission of promoting economic relations between Ireland and Portugal.
Developed under the high patronage of the Ireland Ambassador in Portugal, Orla Tunney, Ireland Portugal Business Network is supported by the Irish Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade, a government agency which objective is to promote and protect abroad the values, interests and economic well-being of Ireland and its people. It also works closely with some of the main public and private agencies, in areas such as commerce and tourism, and, in Portugal, with AICEP Portugal Global.
According to Tony Boyle, chairman of the Ireland Portugal Business Network, “tourism is one of the areas where we see more potential for business development between the two nations. We are confident that the deep industry knowledge and culture of disruptive innovation that distinguish BlueShift will be valuable assets for the fulfillment of our mission”.
